About the Role

Love leading teams and making things happen behind the scenes?

As an Assistant Manufacturing Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of our manufacturing operation while helping to create a safe, productive and engaging environment for our people.

Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play an important role in delivering quality products, supporting team development and driving operational success.

What are you responsible for?

• Supporting the daily operation of the manufacturing facility
• Leading, coaching and developing Team Members and Team Leaders
• Ensuring safety, quality and food safety standards are maintained
• Assisting with labour planning and workforce management
• Monitoring production performance and supporting operational improvements
• Coordinating training and capability development initiatives
• Supporting inventory management and production planning activities
• Helping create a positive and high-performing team culture

The Sweet Ingredients For Success

• Previous leadership, supervisory or team coaching experience will be highly regarded
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, warehousing or another fast-paced operational environment is advantageous
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to lead from the front
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Someone who enjoys developing, supporting and bringing out the best in others
• The ability to remain organised and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
