IT Project Manager

We currently have a 12-month fixed-term contract role available for an IT Project Manager, who will oversee the delivery of various IT projects across Krispy Kreme Australia and New Zealand.


About the role 

Every day at Krispy Kreme presents different challenges and while you will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet them all, there are some tasks that will form the backbone of your work as IT Project Manager:

  • Overseeing the deployment, maintenance, upgrade and support of Krispy Kreme IT systems
  • Partnering with Marketing, eCommerce, Commercial and Retail Operations to enable technology for improved customer experience and employee efficiency - both online and in store 
  • Leading and implementing key business projects; ensuring involvement and communication with all key business stakeholders
  • Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations
  • Procuring, negotiating, managing and monitoring contracts for ITC services provided by third parties, and ensuring effective service delivery

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

We believe in hiring for cultural fit and training for skills, however there are some things we need from you: 

  • Ability to manage website upgrades and building Customer/Digital roadmaps 
  • Technical expertise in using eCommerce CMS platforms such as Magento and Shopify
  • Ability to deliver successful CRM (e.g. Bronto, Salesforce), gift carding (e.g. GiveX) and loyalty application projects
  • Familiarity with shipping platforms such as Shippit
  • Ability to deliver large data projects both Customer and ERP based 
  • Technical understanding of BI dashboard development
  • Familiarity with Oracle based POS and ERP system implementation
  • Ability to analyze, implement and evaluate IT systems and their specifications
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-direction
  • Ability to seek innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • A commitment to working within a culturally diverse workforce

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Current Project Management qualifications or certifications (e.g. Prince2, Prince2Agile, PMP, PMI) 
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, including at least 2 of these years in the Digital landscape
  • Retail service industry or Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is preferred 

Experience with the most current IT systems and technologies.
