As an Assistant Category Manager, you will work closely with the Category Development Manager and partner with Category, Commercial and Marketing leaders to turn customer cravings, market insights and data into winning category plans. You’ll get hands‑on with spotting trends and help bring sweet strategic ideas to life across retail and digital channels throughout Australia and New Zealand.

 You’ll be responsible for driving impact through:
  • Analysing multi‑channel performance to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Supporting and leading key category initiatives including pricing optimisation, range reviews and promotional effectiveness.
  • Managing scan sales databases, ensuring accurate, clean and reliable data.
  • Keeping track of key competitors and broader market trends impacting the category.
  • Conducting field and market research and translate findings into clear insights.
  • Providing day‑to‑day support through analysis, reporting, presentations and agency coordination.

 We’re looking for someone who will help us grow and thrive with:
  • 3+ yrs in experience in category, sales, insights or related roles.
  • Experience in FMCG, QSR, bakery highly desired.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical background with experience analysing complex data.
  • Passion for achieving great outcomes as a team.
