About Krispy Kreme

At Krispy Kreme, we don’t just make doughnuts – we create moments of joy. Since opening our first store in 2003, we have been spreading smiles across Australia and New Zealand with our handcrafted, melt-in-your-mouth treats.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you’ll guide and support your team to consistently produce high-quality doughnuts. You’ll manage shifts, coach Team Members, oversee food safety compliance, and work closely with the Production Manager to keep operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll set the standard and lead by example.

What are you responsible for?

  • Leading and developing your Team Members to deliver quality doughnuts and maintain Krispy Kreme standards
  • Using systems and processes to ensure shifts are appropriately staffed and work is planned effectively
  • Managing your team to complete tasks on time and in line with labour targets, standards, and policies
  • Overseeing hourly QCP (Quality Control Point) checks, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) compliance, and food safety practices
  • Coaching, briefing, and providing feedback to Team Members to support performance and learning
  • Ensuring Team Members comply with WHS (Workers Health and Safety) and workplace safety standards
  • Monitoring product quality, timeliness, and suitability, and escalating issues to the Production Manager where needed
  • Planning and leading group or one-on-one training and development sessions in line with team needs
  • Supporting a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture

What’s in it for you?

  • Working for a globally recognised brand that is fun, fast-paced, and offers growth & development opportunities
  • Industry-competitive pay rates, a positive culture, and a diverse and inclusive workplace
  • Work alongside supportive teammates while gaining valuable experience

We embrace individuality and foster a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. We train for skills, however there are just some things we need from you:

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing or hospitality leadership
  • Awareness of the need to maintain quality standards and product consistency
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coach, train, and motivate others
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions and seek assistance when required
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally diverse workplace
  • High level of integrity and dedication to ethical business practices
  • Confidence, passion and enthusiasm about the customer experience and the Krispy Kreme Brand.

Education

  • Experience in food handling or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated consistent delivery of high-level Production standards
  • An understanding of the importance of WHS in the workplace

Every day at Krispy Kreme is filled with little moments that have big possibilities!
