Krispy Kreme is in the business of happiness. Our Manufacturing Team Leaders contribute to the success of Krispy Kreme by leading and developing Team Members. Team Leaders contribute to the success of our Teams by providing guidance to Team Members, support to Manufacturing Managers and contributing ideas, energy and support while creating quality doughnuts.

 

The Role

As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will be responsible for;

  • Using the Krispy Kreme systems and processes to ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed, and to plan the work of your Team before their shift.
  • Using your understanding of the skills and knowledge of your Team Members to lead the Team during their shift.
  • Leading your Team to make sure they complete all their assigned tasks on time and in line with Krispy Kreme standards and policies.
  • Managing your teams in line with labour targets as outlined by Manufacturing Manager.
  • Addressing issues with Team Members as they arise throughout the day, including providing feedback.
  • Holding Team and one-on-one briefings with your Team at appropriate times.
  • Planning and leading one-on-one and group learning & development activities in line with individual and store needs.
  • Ensuring that Team Members comply with Food Safety standards.
  • Overseeing the quality of all products intended for customers and liaising with the Manufacturing Manager on any issues with quality, timeliness or suitability.
  • A flexible approach to shift patterns, with good availability including early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, seven days a week, must also be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Other adhoc duties as and when required.

  • Confidence, passion and enthusiasm about our products and the Krispy Kreme Brand.
  • The ability to demonstrate leadership in OH&S in the workplace.
  • The ability to solve problems and seek assistance when required.
  • Stay grounded and true to yourself. After all, everyone at Krispy Kreme is an Original!
  • A flexible approach to shift patterns, must be available to work a rotational shift pattern between the hours of 12pm to 12am from Monday to Friday.

Please note, as per current government health orders, all essential workers will be required to be double vaxxed as of Monday 11 October 2021, i.e. have had received both of their COVID-19 vaccination doses.
