The eCommerce Specialist is a pivotal role responsible for the technical management and optimisation of our organisation’s online presence. The role involves overseeing the eCommerce platform, website UX/UI, and systems integrations to enhance user experience, drive online sales, and optimise website content & functionality. This role is essential in driving growth across our ecommerce channels and elevating our online and third-party presence.

About the Role

Every day at Krispy Kreme presents different challenges and while you will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet them all, there are some tasks that will form the backbone of your work as an Ecommerce Specialist:

  • E-commerce Technical Oversight: Support implementation of technical aspects of the eCommerce platform strategy, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the user experience by analysing user behaviour, conducting usability tests, and implementing improvements to the website's design and navigation.
  • Content and Website Campaign Management: Oversee the management of product listings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, compelling product descriptions, and high-quality visuals.
  • Third Party Account Management and 3PD channel growth: Develop and execute campaigns & tactics in line with business objectives for 3PD accounts.
  • Identify and present new growth opportunities, in line with platform technology advancements and overall consumer demand within existing channels, aiming to grow the business and deliver key performance indicators
  • Digital Brand Health: Monitor competitor's online presence, identify opportunities to differentiate, and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • SEO: Conduct keyword research and on-page optimisation recommendations. Work with the wider ecommerce team to evaluate content opportunities.

 

About You

  • QSR or retail business is a plus
  • Adaptable, analytical thinker who can work both strategically as well as in a hands-on/executional capacity
  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to influence others without direct control
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Strong ability to manage simultaneous project streams
  • A commitment to working with a culturally diverse workforce.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus)
  • Or appropriate industry/professional experience 
  • 2+ years of Ecommerce experience, SEO, and Digital Marketing experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with marketing automation software
